Privacy notice (KVKK) | Dr. Sinan Doğan

This notice is provided under Article 10 of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to explain how the personal data you share through the contact and appointment form on drsinandogan.com is processed. The Turkish version is the binding text.

What you write as your reason for getting in touch may include special categories of personal data, such as health data. A few lines are enough; we can go into detail at the first session.

Purpose

To reply to your request, contact you and arrange an appointment.

Legal basis

Your identity, contact and request details are processed because this is directly related to entering into a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c). Special categories of personal data are processed only on the basis of the explicit consent you give in the form (KVKK Art. 6/3-a).

Transfers

The form runs on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). The information you enter is not stored in a database; it is sent to me directly as an email and kept in an email service provided by Google LLC (USA). Your data is therefore transferred abroad. This transfer is based on the explicit consent you give in the form (KVKK Art. 9). Unless required by law, your data is not shared with any other person or organization.

Site statistics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to see how often the site is visited. It does not use cookies, does not store anything in your browser and does not track individual visitors; it only shows aggregate statistics such as page views, the referring site, country and device type.

Retention

If your request does not lead to counseling, the information sent through the form is deleted within 6 months at the latest. If counseling begins, records are kept for as long as professional and legal obligations require.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about it if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and deletion or destruction, and to have these actions notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to a result against you that arises from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
